NCEA denounces ill informed bill of Malinowski

ADDIS ABABA- The National Council of Eritrean Americans (NCEA) has strongly deplored the House Foreign Affairs Committee bill introduced by Representatives Tom Malinowski and Young Kim concerning the war in Ethiopia.

As to the press release issued by the Council, the bill, instead of bringing peace and stability, will only encourage the terrorist TPLF that has been obstructing peace in the Horn of Africa for three decades to continue with its reckless and destructive adventures.

Awramba community leader urges people to prioritize peace, humanity • Community marks 50th anniversary

ADDIS ABABA- The founder and leader of Awramba community, which is known for its egalitarian philosophies, unique work ethics, peace, equality and gender justice, Zumra Nuru urged fellow citizens to prioritize peace and humanity.

Zumra made the above remark during the 50th founding anniversary of the community. The community derived its name from its original locality, Awramba, a Kebele in Fogera district, South Gondar Zone of Amhara State.

Campaigners call for increased support to Afar people

ADDIS ABABA- Ethiopian twitter campaigners called for support to Afar people who have been victimized by terrorist TPLF.

Politician Neamin Zeleke via his twitter page said that since the Afar people have been neglected by the international community, Ethiopians and friends of Ethiopia should support our people for their existence.

Explaining the severity of the problem of Afar people, he said that dozens of civilians have reportedly fled from Northern Afar due to terrorist TPLF’s new atrocity.

Diaspora’s engagement pivotal to economic recovery

ADDIS ABABA- The government should create a system to actively engage the diaspora community in productive businesses that would in turn bring the desired dynamism in the war and pandemic affected economy, a researcher made a call.

Economic researcher at the Ethiopian Economic Association Abule Mehari (PhD) said that as Diasporas have a better capacity of capital and knowledge, allowing them to participate in productive businesses will contribute much for national economic recovery.

AU Summit refutes misrepresentation about Ethiopia

ADDIS ABABA- The successful conduct of the 35thOrdinary Session of the AU Assembly in Addis Ababa told the global community that Ethiopia’s reality is not what is portrayed by the corporate media, according to a wellacclaimed Ethiopian Diaspora.

ADDIS ABABA – The GERD is a beckon of regional cooperation and integration than an issue of bickering, so said Foreign Affairs State Minister, adding that Egypt and Sudan should embrace the GERD project for their benefit.

In an exclusive interview with Dubai based Al Arabiya television, Ambassador Redwan Hussien stated that Ethiopia provided more opportunities for Egypt and Sudan to benefit from the dam, notwithstanding their failure to appreciate it.

ADDIS ABABA – Accounting and Auditing Board of Ethiopia (AABE) disclosed its readiness to deliver certified accounting and audit service.

The Board will deliver the service through the Ethiopian Institute of Certified Public Accountants that it will establish soon. Yesterday, the AABE held its First National Accounting Day Conference to boost awareness, networking and collaboration among stakeholders.

ADDIS ABABA—Various Cooperative Unions stated that they have been devising possible solutions to the inflation as they have contributing a lot to bridge consumers with producers, providing farmers with quality life as well as creating conducive market environment.

Oromia Coffee Growers Cooperative Union Head Dejenie Dadi told The Ethiopian Press Agency(EPA) that cooperative unions have been playing a significant role in avoiding brokers and ensuring farmers and consumers’ sustainable benefit as reasonable price.
