The Ministry of Information, Communication and Technology in the Kavango West confirmed that the Fiedler family handed over donations of textbooks, stationeries and sports balls valued at N$350,000 to Nkurenkuru Combined School.

Retired German Diplomat Wolfgang Fiedler encouraged learners to take good care of the donated textbooks as they will be used by the generations to come.

Speaking at the handover, the Principal of the School, Frans Ngoma said the journey of education is made possible by benefactors such as the Fiedler family.

The Governor of Hardap Region, Salomon April officially inaugurated a kindergarten in Maltahohe on 1 April, donated by Mr and Mrs Von Wietersheim with the assistance from Zukunft-Africak e.V from Germany.

The Office of the Governor said the kindergarten will cater for 24 children between the ages of 1 to 5 years and was constructed at a cost of N$350,000. “The couple also donated a soup kitchen which will serve meals to about 80 children from Mondays to Saturdays,” the Governor’s Office said

Un mécanisme d’appui technique et de consulting baptisé « Dispoflex » en faveur de la réforme du secteur public a été lancé, mardi 7 décembre 2021, dans le cadre de la coopération tuniso-allemande.

The expansion project of a dry port facility in Modjo faces yet another setback following a deferred approval of a 25 million dollars loan request by the World Bank.

The Bank is financing the undertaking through 150 million dollar loans approved in 2017. However, the project was not commissioned to the China Civil Engineering Construction Corporation (CCECC) for over 4.7 billion Br until last July.
