Community members in eThekwini concerned about rising crime levels

Community members in eThekwini have expressed concern over rising crime levels. Police Minister Bheki Cele released crime statistics for the fourth quarter of the 2022-2023 financial year on Tuesday. The Umlazi and Inanda police stations registered 68 and 64 murders between January and March of this year respectively. Statistics show that firearms are the most used weapons in the committing of these murders which stand at 842 in the province.
