A two-day strike by the TIPA Truckers Association has come to an end at Tarish Pit, Pond Casse.

Local truckers this week went into a strike as they demanded to be paid their wages earned from Sotradom, a company owned by Mr. Jack Ghadakhan.

President of the TIPA Truckers Association, Anton Laville said this week that the truckers were engaged from February 2022 with Mr. Ghadakhan’s company and were not paid their wages for the past six months and was owed ¼ million dollars ($250,000).

However, with strategic support provided by Superintendent Anthony Lawrence of the Northern Division, Vibes Radio can confirm that the TIPA Truckers Association has called of the strike at the Tarish Pit after two days and an amicable agreement between the association and Mr. Jack Ghadakhan has been achieved.
