On Trac X- Ceed goes into next Monday’s final match versus Mitres in the Flow/ Bank of SVG Fast- 5 Netball Tournament, as the lone unbeaten team.

Originally set for last Thursday, June 16 , the planned event had to be rescheduled because of the inclemency of the weather that forced the postponement of the Maple Netball Club versus Mitres game on Monday.

More bad weather did not allow for the match to take place on Tuesday; but when it was finally played on Thursday, it resulted in a 21-11 win for the Maple Netball Club. Thus, Maple ended the tournament on eight points.

Apart from defending champions, X- Ceed, Mitres and Maple Netball Team, National Properties Netters, RSVG Police Sports Club and Clinchers, also contested for honours in Division One. Netters ended on four points, while RSVG Police Sports Club gained two points and Clinchers got no points.

In Monday’s final, On Trac X- Ceed will be looking to do the double as they have also taken Division Two. That unit played unbeaten to finish the five -team race on eight points, ahead of Sion Hill Sports Club in second place with six points.

SVG General Services Maple finished on four points; Future Stars, two points and Success Netters, no points.

Following Monday’s final, the presentation and closing ceremony will take place.
